Patagonia have gone rainbow-bright this season with the Untracked jacket and pants (left) and aptly-named Powslayer combination (right). High-tech has always been the name of the game with eco-friendly company Patagonia – and these threads are no exception. Both sets are made with super watertight Gore-Tex “engineered to battle the most punishing weather”. Ideal for serious backcountry riders looking for the best of the best.

ABOUT PATAGONIA SNOWBOARDING
Patagonia prides itself on its uniquely environmentally friendly approach to making clothes. As well as ensuring that every stage of the production process is as clean and green as possible (right up to encouraging staff to bring their rubbish into work in areas where no recycling schemes exist) they also support various initiatives (like 1% for the Planet) and donate significant portions of their profits to environmental charities. Beloved of free-riders and serious mountain-men, the brand was founded by Californian climber and environmental crusader Yvon Chouinard in the 70s. Although they produce a freestyle range, Patagonia’s kit is mostly high-end tech stuff, made in line with their mission statement: “To build the best product and cause no unnecessary harm”.
