Gigi Ruf may be all slinged up right now, but he still got himself out to ISPO in Munich to take us through the new Slash range for 2016/17.
The line up is much the same set of shapes and models that you would have found at last year’s stall, but that’s not to say that you’ll be stepping on to the same beast when you take one out for a couple of laps. Slash have taken a fresh look at their range of wood cores this season, creating new wood combos to work with each design. The Lightweight Woodcore on the Nahual and Aurora has swapped Poplar for bamboo for example, and the Pop Woodcore has additional spruce stringers for added snap.
Throughout the line you’ll find traction boosting bumps in the sidecut, and hidden tip protectors to increase the life of your ride, and as always, if you’re looking for a great selection of powder, all-terrain and freeride tools, you’re definitely in the right place…
