Since its formation in the 1970s, Patagonia has been about sustainability. The company famously took out a full-page ad in the New York Times advising readers not to buy their jackets – unless they really needed one.
That’s their whole ethos – spend your money on something built to last, saving you cash in the long run and helping the environment too. On top of that, the brand does its bit to ensure that the manufacturing process has a minimal impact on the planet, and they also back campaigns such as Keep Jumbo Wild. To hammer their message home, they were offering free repairs to any items of clothing during ISPO.
Lots of their successful models have been carried over for 2016/17 – albeit with a light-blue makeover – and there are a few new pieces too. From recycled-down mid layers to Gore-Tex shells, here’s a look at a few of them:
