Whether you’re looking for a new-school powder stubby like the Cool Bean, or a park classic like the WWW, K2 Snowboards have got a shape and a style that’ll give you a rad day out on the hill! They’ve continued to push their own envelope this year, providing new designs to add to the already diverse range, and bringing back a bunch of favourites in boards, boots, bindings and more…

There are four completely new boards for 16/17, as well as two additions to the splitboard line, giving you plenty to sample if you can get yourself to a test day. Of the four newcomers, the Party Platter steps in as a new member of the Enjoyer series, for surfy but responsive freestyle vibes, it has Volume Shift tech that lets you ride 7-10cm shorter than your usual ride.

Then there are two more new men’s boards in the Bottle Rocket and the 87 – the former offering a true twin flat/rocker freestyler, with added carbon for pop, and the latter another surf-inspired whip, with a directional shape, camber underfoot, and a rockered nose for all terrain blasting, and powerfull grippy turns.

Explorer types will no doubt notice the additions of the Cool Bean Split (the Spit Bean), and the Joy Driver Split, as well as the new Mountaineer Outsole on the Aspect Boots, making them the most crampon compatible snowboard boot offering around, and giving extra grip for hiking too.

Finally, ladies will notice the new Wildheart in the women’s range – another pow slashing shape, blending camber between the feet, with a rockered tip and tail for good times on all terrain. Follow the set back stance and get out there and charge it, or as K2 would say, Enjoy!
