Arbor Bryan Iguchi Pro Rocker Snowboard 2016-2017

Bryan Iguchi is one of Arbor’s more recent signings, but they understandably haven’t held back on welcoming him into the fold. He gets two variations on his pro board, with camber and rocker versions available. Expect a directional mountain twin with a mid flex and artwork painted by Bryan himself!

Arbor Clovis Snowboard 2016-2017

Arbor’s Clovis is a powder gun inspired by Native American arrow heads! Built on a camber system and shape-designed by Mark Carter, with big backcountry lines in mind.

Arbor Westmark and Splitboard Systems 2016-2017

Left to right: Westmark Rocker, Westmark Camber, Swoon Split, Coda Split, Bryan Iguchi Pro Split

The Bryan Iguchi Pro Camber, Coda Rocker, and Swoon Rocker all come in with splitboard options this year, so you can seek out hidden spots away from the busier areas, and save yourself the price of a lift pass too.

A freestyle board with a distinctive blunted silhouette, the Westmark has been a popular Arbor choice in the past, and we see no reason why that should change in a hurry. The true twin shape comes in both rocker and camber profiles, and both have enough under the hood to take advancing riders on to the next step with their riding.

Arbor Coda, Wasteland and Steepwater Snowboards-2016-2017

From left to right: Coda Rocker, Coda Camber, Wasteland, Coda Camber Premium, Steepwater

In music ‘Coda’ denotes the ending passage of a piece, and with the Coda snowboard, Arbor have aimed to end your search for a snowboard that does it all. Whether you choose the camber, rocker or premium camber version, you’re looking at a board that’ll rip on all sorts of terrain, at home in and out of bounds. The Wasteland sits in this collection as the premium version of the Coda rocker, with a lighter construction and quicker response and feel.

The Steepwater is a Steve Klassen collab, influenced by the 5 x Verbier Extreme winner’s need for high speed stability and dominance regardless of the freeride terrain.

Arbor Shreddy Krueger & Cosa Nostra Snowboards 2016-2017

Left: Shreddy Krueger, Centre: Cosa Nostra

If you’re into your powder gun shapes and surfy style, the Shreddy Krueger and Cosa Nostra are two obvious starting points in Arbor’s range. The Cosa Nostra is essentially a supped up version of the Krueger, and both are built on an obviously directional shape, with a floaty rocker system and mid flex.

Arbor Relapse and Draft Snowboards 2016-2017

In a world (now) full of alternative shapes and endless profile variations, the Relapse is here to cater to those who like things a little bit more familiar. It’s classic camber and true twin traditional shape might well be a welcome relief for those who like what they know and know what they like.

The Relapse is neighboured by Arbor’s most clearly jib-orientated stick. Soft flexing and featuring artwork by Seattle tattoo artists Kyler Martz. Unsurprisingly it has a softer flex and a true twin rocker system, as well as that blunted freestyle shaped for low swing weight.

Arbor Ethos Women’s Snowboard 2016-2017

For ladies looking at their first board, who don’t want to specialise too much just yet, the Ethos is a mountain-twin that will open doors rather than closing them. It’s a new board to the line this year, and is set to sit in the gap that offers reliable build quality and a reasonable price.

Arbor Hemlock Snowboard Bindings 2016-2017

Another newcomer, and Arbor have put out their own binding line this year in the Hemlock – designed to provide a level of responsiveness that perfectly complements the softer all mountain, and freestyle boards in their range.

Comfort, response, reliability and simplicity seem to be at the heart of the design here, with an asymmetrical highback, lifetime guarantee baseplate, aluminium buckles, and tool free adjustable ankle and toe straps.

Left to right: Sin Nombre, Element, Element Premium, Foundation, Formula, Formula Premium

‘No Name No Problems’ reads the text on Arbor’s Sin Nombre. This one’s built for camber control and pop – providing a platform for freestyle riders who want to take it to all sorts of terrian.

The Element has a long legacy going back over 20 years, and now stands as an angular mountain twin board with a rocker system and mid flex. Take it in the original design, or with a premium top sheet, the choice is yours.

Arbor’s Foundation a men’s entry level board that’s out to improve your riding from day one, check our review of last years model to get a better idea of what to expect from this one.

The Formula is designed to cut down barriers between high end technology and every-day affordability – and provide a ride that’ll keep you sated regardless of your level. The basic idea is to create something that’s enjoyable to ride wherever and whenever you need it.

Arbor Swoon Women’s Snowboard 2016-2017

Women’s specific, and coming in with both camber and rocker versions, the Swoon is a mountain-twin back again to offer stability, powder float, and a heap of fun at the same time. Up your pop factor with camber or take the edge off with rocker, either should lend themselves to progressive riding for ladies with a few laps under their belt.

Arbor Zygote Twin Snowboard 2016-2017

The Arbor Zygote Twin has turned heads all over the place in previous years with it’s 80s influenced skate style design, and we see no signs of it letting up any time soon. Underneath that outline it’s designed to ride like a true twin, and it has a softer freestyle flex too. Did we mention it’s been designed by DogTown artist, filmer and all-round boss Craig Stecyk too?
