THIRTY TWO LASHED SNOWBOARD BOOTS REVIEW
Price: £195
Flex: 6
Sizes: 5-13
Lacing system: Laces
The Lashed is one of – if not the – most popular snowboard boot ever made, and is Thirty Two’s biggest seller year after year. The reasons for this are relatively simple: You get a fair bit for your money in terms of tech, it’s versatile and well-suited to a wide variety of riding styles, and it looks cool.
Thirty Two have always prided themselves on making super-light boots. Apparently this year’s ‘STI evolution foam’ outsole, featured on the Lashed, makes this year’s range even lighter than last year’s and means Thirty Two’s boots remain “the lightest in the industry”. The ‘intuition foam’ liners mould to your feet nice and quickly making these boots comfortable and there’s a speed-lacing version if that’s what floats your boat. The middle of the range flex means you can happily hit the park as well as straight-lining pistes or powder fields and Thirty Two team rider Chris Bradshaw even uses these on street rails. So all in all, they’re a great all-rounder.
