BURTON CUSTOM EST BINDINGS REVIEW

Price: £155
Flex: 4
Sizes: S/M/L
Entry system: Classic

Like the board of the same name, the Burton Custom is a stone cold classic, and one of the best selling bindings in their range year after year. It’s a fairly soft-flexing binding that’ll suit a broad range of rider types, from relatively advanced park rats to casual intermediate-level piste cruisers. This model features their EST system, which is offers infinite stance options when used with Burton ‘channel’ boards, but there’s an ordinary baseplate model too. The polished aluminium buckles, like all Burton ratchets, are smooth and easy to use even with gloves on. If you’re after something that’ll lock you in while you’re pointing it on frozen couloirs Xavier de le Rue-style, or boosting 20 feet out of the coping, the Custom is probably a bit too soft. But it’s easy to ride, easy to adjust and great for most all-purpose riding.
