DC ROGAN SNOWBOARD BOOTS REVIEW

The DC Rogan is a different beast to the Travis Rice. If Travis’ signature model is a Ferrari, aimed at the very top end of the riding spectrum, this is more of an Audi – a solid all-rounder that will suit a much broader range of rider types. It features some of the same technology a Travis’ boot, including DC’s ‘unilite sole’ and the 3D tongue, but the flex on this is way softer. This makes it much better suited to piste cruising and hitting the kind of medium-sized park obstacles that most of us mere mortals ride. It’s aimed at intermediate riders and above, and while some jibbers may find it a bit on the stiff side, our test team liked its ability to handle most terrain. The laces are the traditional sort, with DC’s locking eyelets on the upper. All in all, this is a very versatile boot, and one we expect to see a lot of on the hill this winter.
