The Company is a high-end freestyle binding, engineered to be lightweight as well as comfortable. The model has been around for a few years, but is continually updated – this year they’ve added a new ‘AT highback’ which reduces the weight even further. This is combined with classic K2 technologies like their ‘harshmellow’ cushioning, which they’ve added to the footbed of this binding. This helps it soak up the impact of heavy landings better. It features a canted footbed for extra ollie power and the flex is relatively stiff, making this a perfect responsive platform for ripping around at high speeds and hitting big kickers. As one tester put it: “These are supportive and strong bindings, very good at transmitting power to the board”. If you’re heading into the pipe, the big park or the backcountry, a pair of these will be great company. Badum tish.
