Best Snowboard Pants For 2020-2021 | Our favourite snowboard pants for this winter

Whether you're after a pair of bib pants or hard shell ones, we've listed our favourite ones of the season

Investing in a pair of good snowboard pants is as important as investing in a good snowboard jacket. Ideally, you’d want something that’s as comfortable as a pair of tracksuit bottoms and 10 times better at keeping you dry.

There’s nothing more uncomfortable than riding in a pair of pants that don’t stop your bum from getting wet. As snowboarders, it is more or less inevitable that at some point we’re going to park our bums down on the damp slopes. In comparison to skiers, we also spend a lot more time bending down to strap in and out of our bindings – meaning you’ll want to pull on something that lets you bend your knees comfortably.

“Despite it being crucial for a pair of snowboard pants to be both waterproof and breathable, you also might want to think about insulation”

Despite it being crucial for a pair of snowboard pants to be both waterproof and breathable, you also might want to think about insulation. If you’re the one in your crew that’s always moaning about being cold, investing in a pair of pants with added insulation might be a good shout rather than in a pair of plain shell ones.

There’s also plenty of different styles out there: skinny fit, baggy fit, bib pants – you’ve got plenty to choose from. If you want to learn more about what to look for when choosing your next snowboard pants, take a look at our in-depth advice on ‘how to choose the best snowboard jackets and pants’.

Brands are constantly upping their game when it comes to taking on more environmental responsibility, a path Airblaster has chosen to embark upon too. It may sound trashy but, trust us, Mother Nature will dig your vibe.

A micro-tube is then linked from the bag all the way up through the pants to your mouth.
