Just dropped – DTF (Down To Film) is finally here – the eagerly awaited sequel to Pepping and Sexual Snowboarding from three of the raddest riders on the planet, Eiki, Halldor Helgason and their good mate Gulli Gudmunson.
We were suitably teased back in March with this trailer. But has the final product lived up to expectations? Damn right it has. This is the Helgasons we’re talking about here – the Icelandic hellraisers are known for their heavy tricks and unrivalled creativity to turn the whole world into their playground. After all, Halldor did manage to pull off this crazy backflip over a roof gap followed by a 360 spin over a SECOND gap – in Nike’s Never Not earlier this year. So we were expecting big things.
It’s twenty minutes of pure unadulterated riding with Kevin Backstrom, Ethan Morgan, Brendan Gerard, Kareem El Rafie featuring alongside Leo Crawford, Jaeger Bailey and Tor Lundstrom.
The fan contributions in the Open Parts section are as wince-worthy as ever – with a fair helping of Jackass-style tomfoolery. Check the particularly sick park section at 4.50 with a heavy dose of 1080s and Leo Crawford killing on a double kink rail at 13.42.
In all, it’s frickin’ awesome – as we knew it would be. Three words for you: watch it now.
