Today’s the day! Sascha Hamm helps kick off this years Freeride World Tour in Courmayeur, Italy. Its rare to see a Brit riding in a freeride comp, especially the biggest one so if you can make sure you check out the live stream here on Whitelines.
Whilst you’re waiting for the skiers to get out the way we have the first in a series of videos re-introducing Mr Hamm below. Check it out, there’s not so many people that can be so blasé about being trapped in an avalanche for two hours.
As you can see, the guy still has the legs to deal with some pretty sweet lines and burly drops (plus some sweet mute grabs), all the while keeping it fluid and a joy to watch. Go Sascha!
