This trooper is only about to enter its fourth year on the market and has already managed to create quite the fanbase for itself. Slowly, it has infiltrated the snowboard scene and Salomon’s success story as a snowboard brand continues. Safe to say, this knife is here to stay.
The Salomon Huck Knife is a park board through and through. It’s got more pop than the Spice Girls, while the rocker profile at tip and tail ensures you can easily press those rails. What’s new for this season is the profile of the board. It’s still a camrock, but the camber between the feet has been switched for a flat profile so hitting rails will feel more stable.. The wide camber underneath the feet has been cut a bit shorter, which allows a longer rocker section at both ends, and thus makes it even easier to press on stuff.

Despite the changes to its profile, the Huck Knife’s core and the other tech remains the same. The Aspen makes for a quality lightweight core, while the popster maximises the snap and pop of the board. With the slingshot sidewalls and carbon inlays, you can be sure to have a more reactive ride.
The Salomon Huck Knife continues to provide its riders with the exact amount of precision, response and forgiveness you will need for a good ride. There’s a reason you can spot this thing everywhere you go – it’s one hell of a board (simple as).
If you reckon you won’t like the changes done to the 2019/2020 Huck Knife, you should give the new Salomon Huck Knife Pro a try – it’s got the same camrock profile the Huck Knife had before.
