UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2018/2019 Salomon Huck Knife here
The Salomon Huck Knife made its debut in the 2016/17 season, and immediately found a home in the hearts of fun-loving freestyle fiends who like their money to go far. It’s no surprise then that the only significant changes that have been made for its latest incarnation are cosmetic ones.
“The Huck Knife is best ridden where there be jumps and rails”

Salomon had help in crafting the Huck Knife from the brothers Hans and Nils Mindnich. The brothers know their way around a pow field, but the park was these Vermonters’ first and best love. As a result, the Huck Knife is best ridden where there be jumps and rails.
The outline is a good place to start. Being a little on the blunt side, the Salomon Huck Knife has minimal swing weight so will spin like a top. The ‘Quad Camber’ profile features varying levels of bend along the length of the board, as well as short rocker sections at each end, so you’ll get plenty of purchase off a kicker takeoff and just as much pressability on a handrail or ledge.
