There are lots of snowboards that are great for carving, but less that are built for carving. The Nidecker Concept snowboard is the latter, and anyone who likes to get their elbow down should be checking this one out.
All the right ingredients are there; the Nidecker Concept has a pronounced camber profile, for starters, and a slight taper to the shape. All the way through the turn you get superior edge hold, even at Mach 10.

Thanks to the firm triaxial fibreglass, the Concept is incredibly quick to react. The contact points have been lengthened slightly to make it less likely to catch an edge, giving you more confidence in high-speed turns – and with the top-shelf carbon-infused sintered base, you’ll can redline this all day.
The topsheet is designed to help cancel out unwanted chatter, a problem that’s exacerbated at high speeds. While it already has one of the lightest cores around, Nidecker has made it even thinner at each end to reduce swing weight.
That, combined with the relatively short sidecut, makes the Nidecker Concept feel amazing in the carves. If happiness to you is an early-morning groomer, then this would definitely be a board to consider.
