The K2 Overboard is the anti-thesis of its Enjoyer siblings, built for wide, arcing turns on fresh corduroy and endless open powder bowls. This is a snowboard that’s built to stand out, and not just for the residual acid trip base graphics- this is the Kareem Adbul Jabbar of the snowboard world. Coming in at a whopping 165cm, the Overboard eschews the volume shift technology that the rest of the Enjoyer series made their name on.
Drawing inspiration from the OG’s, the Overboard is not dissimilar to something you’d have seen in the early years of snowboarding, back before twin tips were a thing, and behemoth cannons ruled the roost. Although the Overboard tips its hat to the early days, the tech packed into this beast is space age by comparison.

20 Carbon stringers run tip to tail boosting power and supercharging rider input, without messing with the torsional flex. Combine this with the Triax laminates and tri-blend wood core, and you’ve got a board that’s ultra responsive without being overly heavy and cumbersome. A jet fuelled sintered base with a stonking 8.8m sidecut give this charger all it needs to dig some serious trenches on the hardpack, with control and precision being brought to the fore by the powerful camber midbody.
Despite its gargantuan size, the Overboard is much nimbler than you’d expect thanks to the mega taper. There’s a stonking 44mm of difference between the tip and the tail, this narrow back end gives you plenty of leeway to pump turns and steer with the back foot.

The Titanic made its name being ‘unsinkable’, but the Overboard is a feat of engineering even an iceberg couldn’t send under. The oversized, rockered nose is sure to hold its ground no matter how deep the snow, and the setback inserts shift your weight over the tail, forcing you out of the snow and surfing along with ease.
Novices need not apply, this powder cannon has a high barrier to entry and rightly so. With one size, and one size only, the K2 Overboard isn’t for everybody, but if you fit the bill you can be sure this is one snowboard that won’t be trifled with.
