Why we chose the Smith Squad MAG Snowboard Goggles: If we were gonna join a squad, it’d be this one.
The Smith Squad MAG is one of those goggles that immediately makes you sit up and say “Yeah. That’s a good goggle, that.” It’s just got something about it, you know?
The MAG system consists of six magnetic contact points and two locking mechanisms, with a simple push lever system allowing for rapid lens transfer at a moment’s notice. Comes in handy when you’re panicking on a chairlift watching the weather close in, desperately trying to swap your lenses.

Unfortunately, for most of us not every day on the hill is going to be a beautiful bluebird so each Squad MAG purchase comes with two interchangeable ChromaPop lenses. One for use in bright light, the other for use in low light.
ChromaPop is Smith’s own proprietary lens technology and filters two specifc wavelengths of light that cause colour confusion. With a ChromaPop lens you’ll get sharper contrast, enhanced colours and amplified detail. Pretty nifty, huh?
