A brand aimed at women can sometimes be a bit too ‘pink’, sometimes focus in on the unicorn and marshmallow side of things a bit too much (like that’s the only thing we’re into). Nikita though has managed to create a collection where there is something for everyone, with the Nikita Hemlock Pullover Jacket in particular pleasing the ladies who like to keep it simple.
Managing to retain a slim and thin look, the Hemlock Jacket has been blessed with a bit of insulation too: 60g at the body with arms and hood staying at 40g. Adding to the jacket’s warmth is the radiant heat pocket. Basically, you just slide any standard heat warmer into the radiant heat pocket, which is placed on the inside panel of the jacket and sits against the middle of your back. This will keep you warm throughout the day, something you’ll definitely appreciate when leaning against a cold chairlift seat.

The regular long fit with a shaped drop-tail will also do a good job keeping your behind warm and dry. In order to keep the snow out and the warmth in, you can also go ahead and connect the jacket with any Nikita pants with the ‘jacket to pant’ connect system.
If worried about getting in and out of the pullover, a full zip side entry system has been added to make this easier. There’s also a good-sized pouch pocket with audio routing for the ones who like to put in their tunes when riding.
A simple design and pullover fit makes the Hemlock Jacket ideal for the ladies who want to look effortlessly cool (it’s also practical as well). Coming in four different colourways, you can either go for the basic black or for something a bit different, like the light green.
