Founded in 2013, Vimana Snowboards exploded on the European market with strictly professional rider developed and approved gear. By blending Scandinavian engineering and design with paramount materials and handmade production, the brand quickly became renowned in the sport. Instead of following the “this year’s model” cycle, they drop timeless snowboard creations in limited production runs. According to the brand itself, no board carrying the brand’s name had ever been made to appeal to a certain demographic; in other words, what comes out of the factory is purely based on what the team wants to ride.
Building on the success of the brand, Vimana introduced a directional version of their award-winning board, the Continental, as well as Enni Rukajärvi’s first pro model, the Ennitime, back in 2017/18. A few years later, the brand released their first splitboard based on the Meta – an all-round powerhouse. Every year since, the brand keeps on delivering boards, boots, and bindings that sit alongside their established products like the cambered freestyle machine the Vufo.
Run by founder Tronna out of Norway, the team comprises of legends like Freddie Austbø and Markku Koski; a pair supported by some of the finest of the current generation, such as Enni Rukajärvi, Joonas Eloranta and Werni Stock.
