UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2019/2020 Burton Scribe here
The Burton Scribe women’s snowboard bindings are among the brands longest-serving pairs. For the price, they punch far above their weight, making them a fine choice for more advanced riders on a budget. At the same time, they have the comfort factor that makes them a great choice for those still progressing.
Softer than both the Burton Lexa or Escapade, the Burton Scribe is the best choice for mellower riding, wherever on the mountain it may be. From surfy turns in the powder to creative mini-shred on the piste or in the park, these offer the most freedom to flex.

The highback is also quite short, built more for freestyle and less for hard carves. It’s supportive enough, though, so won’t feel limp when you do want to do a bit of charging. You can add a bit of forward lean with a quick twist of the dial found right above the heelcup, and you can change the angles they sit at for a more comfortable ride.
