The Goshiki Bibs are a 3-layer shell, meaning the outer fabric, waterproof membrane and inner lining are all bonded together. That gives you control over your temperature using layers, making them ideal for touring or variable weather days.
Speaking of touring, the cuffs are reinforced with Kevlar, so you won’t end up threadbare like a pair of jeans during Avril Lavigne’s fashion rule after a day on the bootpack.
They also walk the walk environmentally by utilizing NetPlus – a recycled nylon material made from reclaimed fishing nets, thus drastically cutting the carbon footprint compared to using virgin nylon. The bibs are also shipped in a recyclable, plant based bag which scores them an extra couple of bonus points on the the green-conscious scoreboard.

Dialling in the perfect fit with a pair of pants ain’t always easy, but Beyond Medals’ elasticated, drawstring waistband does away with the classic button snap we see everywhere else, and lets you rock ‘em as big as you like while stopping them from falling down every time you move. Similarly, the cuffs can be cinched so you can choose to go full boot cut or draw them in for a track pant fit.
15K waterproofing with additional DWR coating ain’t to be sniffed at either, as well as the durable ripstop fabric and 2-layer construction to keep them from ripping as you’re ripping. No fuss, no frills, just a solid pair of pants at a reasonable price.

“A high-quality, hard-wearing shell pant. The pockets in particular are really nice with a good quality zip. They’re placed well on the pant to keep everything locked in place without feeling like it’s pressing your keys into your thigh.
As far as the fit goes, they have a straighter fit than the ultra bag style of recent winters, but aren’t quite back into the skinny realm and so have a pretty great “mass appeal”. I’d honestly recommend them for pretty much anyone looking for some quality pants!”

It cinches perfectly for the modern boxy look. I also got the most compliments on my fit while wearing the full Nostalgia kit – so you know, ‘look good, feel good, ride good’ etc. Plenty of pockets in places where they’re not in painful landing zones when you fall. I tested this across various temps and snow conditions and was comfortable throughout. It’s very lightly lined, but effectively can be worn like a shell.
