Oyuki Goshiki NetPlus 3L Bib Pants Review

We pulled on these fresh Oyuki waders to see how dry we stayed in the deep stuff.

The Goshiki Netplus 3L Bibs by Oyuki promise performance without compromise in the toughest conditions. We sent our field tester out into the wilderness to see how they stack up against that claim.

Why We Chose the Goshiki Netplus 3L Bibs

These bibs are seriously technical, have a well thought-out design for functionality and boast one of the best out-of-the-bag fits we’ve experienced. They impressed us immediately.

Who Are They For?

Oyuki’s roots lie in Hokkaido — the promised land of powder — so they know exactly what riders need on a backcountry mission. If you’re the type who hunts out every untouched stash on the mountain, these bibs should be firmly on your radar.

Construction and Materials

The Goshiki Bibs are a 3-layer shell, meaning the outer fabric, waterproof membrane and inner lining are all bonded together. That gives you control over your temperature using layers, making them ideal for touring or variable weather days.

Speaking of touring, the cuffs are reinforced with Kevlar, so you won’t end up threadbare like a pair of jeans during Avril Lavigne’s fashion rule after a day on the bootpack.

They also walk the walk environmentally by utilizing NetPlus – a recycled nylon material made from reclaimed fishing nets,  thus drastically cutting the carbon footprint compared to using virgin nylon. The bibs are also shipped in a recyclable, plant based bag which scores them an extra couple of bonus points on the the green-conscious scoreboard.

Fit and Features

Any seasoned bib-wearer knows the eternal struggle: pick between an alarming camel-toe or chest pockets that sit somewhere around your belly button. The Goshiki 3L Bibs finally put that dilemma to bed. You get the correct fit in the crotch and chest pockets that stay exactly where they should be.

Standard features include adjustable shoulder straps and belt loops, but they’re also stacked with storage for your backcountry snacks, tools and spares:

  • 4 chest pockets
  • 2 thigh pockets
  • 1 hip pocket
  • 2 back pockets

Round-Up

It’s hard to find fault here. The fabric feels impressively durable while still offering enough mobility for long days in mixed conditions. There’s a pocket for everything, they’re comfortable, and have a stylish fit that isn’t out of place blasting through the resort or dancing on a table at apres.

A fantastic choice for powder hounds who still like to rip around the resort when the storm cycle pauses.

Pros

  • Phenomenal fit
  • Premium construction with reinforced wear zones
  • Packed with practical, touring-friendly pockets

Cons

High performance comes with a higher price tag, though still more affordable than many backcountry competitors

Tester Verdict

Pat Nichols

These are hands-down the best-fitting bibs I’ve worn in all my years snowboarding. Outrageously comfortable, with a silhouette that feels just as stylish as a regular pair of pants.

Every pocket kept my gear exactly where it needed to be — nothing swung around or shifted while riding which is always a big plus for me.

I couldn’t recommend them more to anyone looking for a quality pair of bibs this winter.
