They say: Full Time Fun, All Time Performance
We say: A new board from K2 pitched at the intermediate market. The all-terrain rocker makes this forgiving, easy to turn and means it can handle most things. The extruded base, while not the fastest, helps keep the price down.
Tester says: I can’t believe this board is less than £300 – it feels and rides out of its class!

About K2

  • Building boards since: 1987
  • HQ: Seattle, WA, USA
  • History lesson: Founded as a ski company in 1961 by brothers Bill and Don Kirschner, K2 has been making snowboards longer than many board-specific brands. Despite this, it a while for K2 to live down its image as a commercially-driven ski-shark among snowboarding minnows. In the end though, the brand’s obvious commitment to snowboarding over the years, combined with its reputation for quality, has helped change even the most gnarled shredder’s minds.
  • Ridden by: People looking for a brand that’ll let them ride whatever and wherever they want without being laughed at by anyone. Technically good, if slightly anonymous riders.
