Here’s another Behind The Ad edit from Quiksilver. While the last one focused on Will Lavigne throwing down in the streets, this one is with the mighty Travis Rice in Alaska – pretty much as different as you can get then! As we know from those little known Brainfarm films, Travis is no stranger to shooting in Alaska and to hear him say that the face in this was one of the coolest he’s ever seen in Alaska has got to count for something. Add that to that the fact that the weather and snow conditions were completely stable (Trav would probably say they were “all time”) and it’s almost like the gods were willing him to get a keeper of a shot.

Seriously though, how mad is that face? Massive lumpy shelf-like pillows that are simply bulging under the weight of a huge mass of snow creeping ever-so-slowly down the face. Can you imagine seeing terrain like that in Tignes? Nah, us neither!
