Annie Boulanger Full Part 2013

ONE OF THE BEST FEMALE BACKCOUNTRY RIDERS YOU'LL EVER SEE

If you don’t know who Annie Boulanger is, then it’s time to get educated. This Canadian pro has been ripping in the Whistler backcountry long before most other women had even considered venturing into such sketchy territory. Annie broke away from the competition scene early in her career. After winning the US Open quarterpipe in 2001 and slopestyle in 2002, she decided to change her career and instead focus on filming.

In 2006, she nailed the Holy Grail of film crews Absinthe and began an epic five year stint riding with them, earning a reputation as one of the most respected female chargers in the world. Just watch this homage from Absinthe to the lady herself to see why!

Ten years down the line, she’s still a pioneer. Check this part to catch her dropping mega cliffs, super smooth 360s and a seriously sketchy near miss at 2.20. As her sponsors Salomon say: “This is one of her best videos parts yet.” We aren’t gonna argue with that.
