It’s no surprise then that there has been plenty of crossovers between the two cultures over the years – Shaun White, Danny Way, Jed Anderson and John Cardiel to name but a few – but we’re willing to bet there’s been nothing like quite this before…

If you hadn’t heard of him before, Lizard King is one of the most creative, gnarliest and well respected street skaters of the now – just check out this recent Supra ad for evidence of the fact, he’s from a different world!

It’s then both surprising and not in equal measures that the new L1 movie featured a full snowboarding part from him. It may not be the tidiest two minutes of urban you’ll ever see, but it’s a good feeling watching this space wizard shred strapped in and on snow.
