Fresh Snowboarding Camps are hosted by Renelle Mortimer – the only female Snowboard examiner/trainer in history for BASI – who has developed a unique, holistic coaching technique over her seventeen years teaching.
”Snowboarding is not just about turning, jumping & spinning. It’s about freedom and self-expression. ‘Some people just make it look too easy, so what makes the difference. What defines a really good ‘stand out’ rider?’ The answer is quite simple. They make it look natural, because it feels natural to them..”
This year, she’s running two early season camps out of our favourite chalet in Tignes: The Dragon Lodge. While the courses take place on the 21st to 28th November and the 28th Novemeber to 5th December, they actually start a month before as participants are provided with “a body and mind preparation program” to help get them in the zone. Call it total immersion snowboarding if you will.
Together, Fresh Snowboarding Camps and The Dragon Lodge provide:
- Seven nights accommodation
- Breakfast
- Afternoon tea
- Three course evening meal with wine
- Six day lift pass
- Return transfers from Geneva
- Free Endeavour snowboard test
All for £695 – the only other thing you need are flights!
To us at least, it sounds like a great way to kick off the winter, get those early season legs warmed up and learn something new on a board – ideal.
“With this holistic approach riders rate of improvement and progression accelerates incredibly” – Renelle Mortimer
