In these days of social media totality, it takes something big for snowboard brands to get into headlines. One of the biggest stories out of the last few years was Burton dropping the Forum brand back in 2012 – not so long has passed, but could the big F be making a comeback?
We thought something was a bit peculiar when we caught sight of the above Instagram shot from Alek Oestreng featured a slice of a familiar board graphic, but it wasn’t until the ‘gram from Crab Grab below that we had confirmation: Alek Oestreng was riding a Forum board at the Dew Tour over the weekend.
There’s no official word on what Alek is up to here – maybe he just fancied dusting off an old board – but it was rad to see that classic ‘F’ shape flying high in the Breckenridge sky once again.
