The idea behind this trip was just to travel.
And so begins another teaser for a snowboard travel movie, a concept that was pretty much done and dusted in the time of Fall Line Films. Over twenty years ago.
Ho hum, at least the current crop of flicks coming from the Rome media department have been suitably excellent: their 12 Months web series was an excellent concept and the filming and editing for the recent Road Trips Never Fail was about the best we’ve seen in years. Their filmer Theo Muse is on fire right now, so you can guarantee that while the concept of this three-part series might be a little stale by now, the visuals will be jaw dropping.

Plus the riders they have shredding these days are amongst the absolute best. Stale Sandbech, LNP, Will Lavigne, Ozzy Henning and Len Jorgensen are some of the names that get us most excited these days!
Join them as they go ‘deeper’ (higher? further?) than anyone before into Kazakhstan, the Aleutian Islands (off the coast of Antarctica) and Norway than anyone before. Or even if they don’t and just spend the time waxing lyrical about how amazing travel is (really?!) at least the riding will be outstanding.
What do you guys think? Is it a case of everything is awesome and current snowboard film making is just fine? Or are we long overdue a giant shake up? Is snowboarding so lost it needs to be found? Or does it actually need ‘saving’?
