At the age of fifteen Jamie Anderson knocked Shaun White out of the history books as the youngest X games medallist in history. At almost every elite-level slopestyle event since then, she’s been the one to beat.
The heavy favourite for Olympic gold in 2014, Jamie stomped her second run to take the top spot ahead of Enni Rukajarvi and Jenny Jones. While Silje Norendal has knocked her into 2nd place at the last two X Games (and Christy Prior did the same at the 2015 Burton European Open), Jamie’s always been the one raising the standard – and she’s just as happy to have someone else on the top step, as long as it’s been a fun session.
