The world’s serving up a pretty big plate of doom, these days. If you’re struggling to stomach one more mouthful of apocalyptic dread you could always take the Shred Bots approach and just choose not to give a shit. None. Nada. Zilch. Not one single, hooping fuck. If it ain’t snowboarding, I ain’t interested.
Their latest film, Who Cares, just dropped and, frankly, it’s the only thing we care about right now. The crew brought the heat and got our pre-season fire well and truly stoked. Shred Bots have left the park behind in this backcountry edit, stacked with pillows, couloirs, pow slashes and one of the best crash segments fused with Spanish rumba you’ll ever see. (It’s ten minutes in if you can’t wait that long.)
“The crew brought the heat and got our pre-season fire well and truly stoked”
Charles Reid, Darcy Sharpe, Ryan Paterson, Jamie Anderson, Dustin Craven, and friends put the film together last winter, which started in Whistler BC, before moving on to Revelstoke and finished up in Alaska.
Winter’s just around the corner. Shred Bots are here to get you hyped. Who cares? We do. And after this, you will, too.
Directed by Filmmaker Ryan Kenny and snowboarder Charles Reid.
