The binding of choice for the Rusty Toothbrush crew, including head honcho Alex ‘Peppino’ Stewart, the Drake Supersport sit towards the freestyle end of the all-mountain spectrum. Built around Drake’s Light Saber baseplate, marrying playful flexibility with responsive power, the Supersport is a versatile charger.
To keep your day as hassle-free as possible, Drake use their Eazy Entry System which makes strapping in and out a breeze. The ankle strap sits open to allow for unobstructed entry for your boot, but they don’t flop onto the board and interfere when you’re skating or riding one-footed.

The Bio Map Carbon Composite Highback cuts unnecessary weight, while still retaining its powerful response. By taking on an asymmetric outline, it works with the taller shape to provide support right up the calf for more power through your heelside turns.
That’s not the only thing sitting slightly off-kilter here. The footbeds also have a subtle canting, allowing you to transfer more power outside your feet, towards the nose and tail of the board, not to mention making life a little kinder on your knees.

The Grandmaster Ankle Straps rounds off a super lightweight, highly responsive, yet minimal design from Drake. Toolless adjustments and three colourways to choose from (including dark olive and black, as well as the Rusty collab featured here) give just about every rider out there an option to keep them charging comfortably all day.
