They say: Create and destroy.
We say: This is unusual amongst jib sticks because of its flat base profile – this gives it more pop than most rocker boards, and that super-soft flex means it still presses nicely. Maybe a bit more prone to edge catching, but it works for Jed Anderson, and there’s not many better than him on a rail.
Tester says: The ultimate board for the indoor rails trips out there. Oh and sick graphics!

About Salomon
- Building boards since: 1997
- HQ: Annecy, France
- History lesson: The father and son team Francois and Georges Salomon founded the brand that bears their name in 1947. Although it started out in a small workshop in Annecy, the company soon outgrew these humble origins. By the time it reached its 50th birthday in 1997 – the year it launched its first range of snowboards – it was one of the world’s biggest ski makers. Perhaps predictably then, its boards met with a lukewarm reception from the hardcore of the scene. This didn’t deter Salomon however, and it kept investing in the sport. In the end its attentiveness paid off when snowboarders realised that Salomon’s boards were simply too good to ignore any more.
- Ridden by: Sensible shredders who like a decent amount of tech in their sticks without compromising too much on style.
