The Best Black Friday Snowboard Deals 2016-2017

While we don’t advocate the kind of pepper-spraying, stampeding lunacy that passes for acceptable Black Friday behaviour in other parts of the world, it would be remiss of us not to point out that there are some top deals on snowboard gear out there today.

Don’t go nuts, of course; it’s all too easy to con yourself into buying unnecessary snowboard gear. Take a breath, check your current kit, and be honest with yourself. Buyer’s Remorse is still a thing, even if you get a great deal!

If you actually are in the market for a new board, jacket, action cam or whatnot, here’s where to look:

VANS

Unless you’re after some pro model skate shoes, you can pick up what you need from Vans’ Black Friday sale with 30% off.

Snowboard boots up for grabs include the Implant, Ferra, V66, Aura and Infuse – check out each one’s key features here.

The deal runs until 28th November, so you don’t need to run the risk of your boss catching you online shopping at work.

BURTON

The Burton Black Friday deal offers 20% of everything from their online store, including free shipping.

Whether you’re after a new powder gun or more of an all-mountain setup, the Big B has something for you. There’s no mad rush for this one either, as it’s running all weekend.

DC

There’s up to 40% off selected items in the DC Black Friday sale, as well as big reductions on stuff that’s already on sale. If you had your eye on the Torstein boot or the Supernatant snowboard, you’ve got until the 28th to get a good deal.

GOPRO

They’ve avoided any mention of Black Friday itself (a potentially smart move, given the stink it carries in some quarters) but GoPro are getting involved nonetheless.

If you grab the GoPro Hero Session before 28th November, it comes with a well-stocked goody bag of accessories.

 

SURFDOME

Surfdome are stacked to the rafters with snowboard clobber, from the likes of Billabong, The North Face, Quiksilver and Vans.

Today’s deals range from between 20% and 70% off, with most snowboard kit coming in at a 40% discount.

PATAGONIA

Ever the ones to do things differently, Patagonia are turning Black Friday on its head. Green Friday, anyone?

If you buy anything from Patagonia.com or one of their flagship stores today, they’ll give 100% of the profits to “grassroots envitronmental causes”.

It’s not actually a sale, so prepare to pay up – but remember, Pata gear is built to last.
