Super Slick Pipe Edit from iPod

A lot of the time snowboard halfpipe gets stick for being the more gymnastic and spin-wizzely arm of snowboarding, unsurprisingly because for most of us any exposure given to pipe tends to be competition based.

But – as we all know deep down inside – pipe is really, really cool. The top level guys can not only thrown some ridiculous spins twenty feet above an icy death wall, but they can make some super slow maneuvers look jaw droppingly rad as well.

Take iPod – back in January he gave us a little sneak peek at what he can do when given free reign in a pipe on his victory lap at the Burton European Open, boosting some some huge straight airs, methods and one spectacular 25 foot air-to-fakie.

Now check out this wee edit he’s put together from Oslo, Norway. It doesn’t get more stylish than this really. That caballerial method at 0.52 show’s exactly how much control he has whilst going massive.

This is the new Olympic halfpipe champion, in complete control. Expect more great things.
