They say: This board knows no bounds.
We say: This is Ride’s answer to the K2 Gyrator or Salomon Sickstick. A directional Twin with a rocker shape sacrifices a bit of stability to keep both your nose and tail clear in the deep stuff. With its hemp-fabric top-sheet, its an eco-friendly ride as well.
Tester says: Light and poppier that I expected, making it pretty easy to ride.

About Ride
- Building boards since: 1992
- HQ: Seattle, WA, USA
- History lesson: Now one of the best-known brands in snowboarding, Ride was founded in 1992. Tim Pogue, a former Burton employee, joined forces with Jamie Salter – of the now sadly defunct Kemper snowboards – and a third friend Roger Madison to work on a new project. Their vision struck a chord with riders both in the states and in Europe who were looking an alternative to the super-sized ski brands that dominated the market. Ride’s spectacular early success drove the company’s founders to take it public in 1994. Since then it has grown steadily.
- Ridden by: Shredders who want to be alternative without going all the way. Riding Ride makes you look less like your dad kids!
