They say: This is no short-lived love.
We say: The Crush is fast becoming one of the classics of the Ride range, pitching itself at the cheaper end of the park stick market. The ‘LowRize’ rocker gives this a frisky feel and the ‘Membrain’ topsheet helps it look the shit.
Tester says: A nice ride. Medium flex and super easy to shred on. Great entry level/intermediate board, particularly good choice for dome or dryslope riders.

About Ride

  • Building boards since: 1992
  • HQ: Seattle, WA, USA
  • History lesson: Now one of the best-known brands in snowboarding, Ride was founded in 1992. Tim Pogue, a former Burton employee, joined forces with Jamie Salter – of the now sadly defunct Kemper snowboards – and a third friend Roger Madison to work on a new project. Their vision struck a chord with riders both in the states and in Europe who were looking an alternative to the super-sized ski brands that dominated the market. Ride’s spectacular early success drove the company’s founders to take it public in 1994. Since then it has grown steadily.
  • Ridden by: Shredders who want to be alternative without going all the way. Riding Ride makes you look less like your dad kids!
