The Details:
The CAPiTA Horrorscope is the brand’s best-selling board, and has long offered a premium jib board experience at a low price. Once again the colourful graphics come courtesy of UK artist Jono Wood.
This is an out-and-out freestyle board, designed and enjoyed by the heavy hitters on the CAPiTA team. If you’re not even slightly interested in getting airborne or sliding along stuff, move along as there’s nothing to see here.
If you are, you’ll appreciate the Horrorscope’s press-friendly profile (it’s got a prominent rocker bend, other than a short flat section between the feet) and mellow flex. The nose and tail have been given a blunt shape, making for a more maneuverable stick that will still hold a strong edge in the turns.
It might not be the ideal vehicle for superpipes and giant booters, but ticks all the boxes for general park riding. It’s definitely suitable for urban stuff too; the new all-poplar core and extruded base are both designed to handle sustained abuse, and the tip and tail have been given extra reinforcement.
If you like lapping the park lift but enjoy hitting the streets when the going’s good, the CAPiTA Horrorscope is ripe for both – and with that range of sizes, finding the right one for you is easy.
