A favourite amongst many female frothers out there – The Capita Birds of a Feather. If you’re all about that bird like glide, feather like float and simply love to shred, this beauty of a board is a solid choice for you.

Capita’s Birds of a Feather is an all-mountain ripper that will make you fly fast past everyone else on the slopes. The true twin shape, camrock profile and medium flex makes this a versatile vehicle, so you can be sure to expect this board to follow you nearly anywhere. The camrock profile gives you a poppy yet floaty ride, while the true twin profile makes sure you can carve the mountain with ease both regular and switch.

New for this season is the upgraded base. The quantum drive base is new for Capita this year, and the guys over at the Mothership have been working their asses off in the lab to put this lightning quick durable demon together. Super fast and extra durable, you’ll be at the front of the pack all day long.

Compared to last year’s model, the graphics for 2019/2020 are slightly more subtle. The owl embellishing this year’s top sheet is very well made with a lot of different details and colours, making us quite stoked on this years simple yet beautiful design.

All the rad ladies looking for an all-rounder that you can count on to please you, whether in the park, on the piste, or in powder – this little bird will take you through anything with ease.

Tester’s Verdict

Stella PenttiWhitelines

“This is a banging board! Absolutely loved riding it.

Basically, I love a true twin board, and in the past, I’ve also enjoyed a more mellow flex. However, I’ve come to realise that a slightly higher than mid rated flex is does the trick nowadays. Don’t get me wrong I still love to jib around and so, but the firmer flex makes it possible to charge as well – which I love.

I had the pleasure of riding this camrock board on fresh groomers and oh dear baby Jesus it was fun! This thing holds an edge better than you could hold your liquor on a Friday night out. I was flying fast past everyone without having to fear I’d catch an edge and tumble down like an amoeba.

It’s a good jib board too, but it’s definitely not made for that purpose primarily, so if that’s what you’re after, this might be a bit too stiff to your likening.

Sadly, I didn’t get to ride this in any powder, but I reckon it would do quite well in the deep too – basically, this is a really solid choice for a fast all-mountain board.”
