Construction and Materials
To keep the Asyumulator accessible and affordable CAPiTA have opted not to use their top-of-the-line tech, if you’re looking for the absolute crème de la crème maybe look towards the Mega Merc, or Super DOA, but it’s actually the fact that CAPiTA keep the Asymulator firmly in the middle of the pack that makes us love it so much. It’s a manageable board for the masses, soft enough to play around on but thanks to the Asym properties it can still rail a turn with the best of them.
The dual wood core is sandwiched by triax and biax fibreglass with Technora and Flax Boosters to absorb chatter and drive power from tip to tail, all rounded out with CAPiTA’s Quantum Drive Base. It’s fast, but not the fastest. It’s light but not the lightest. It’s reactive but not the most reactive. You get the picture? This is all reflected in the lower price point and you’re still getting a hell of a machine.
Just like your favourite skateboard back in the day, CAPiTA have kitted out the Asymulator shovelhead nose and tail with skid plates, this reshaped alloy protects your board from high impact tricks and abrasion. Add this to the full steel edges and ABS sidewalls and you’ve got one rugged son of a gun, making the Asymulator the gift that just keeps giving.

The graphic may channel a ninja-like stealth look, but the Asymulator is not a snowboard to blend in. Whether it’s the decidedly askew look, or the whoops and hollers it will elicit, you’ll be turning heads when strapped into this Avant Garde offering from CAPiTA.
