The Bataleon Push Up is designed with total domination in mind, and will be the perfect companion for hard charging rippers who want one board to do it all. Piste? Powder? Park? You name it, the Push Up has it covered.

A mid flex keeps it super versatile and is backed up by the 3BT camber profile. Tip to tail full camber keeps the board lively and aggressive when you want to really push it on piste and need those lightning fast edge to edge transitions.

The uplifted sidebases are heaven sent when you’re trying to nail new tricks and aren’t quite stomping the landings. It’s a get out of jail free card every time. Smile and wave as accidental edge catches jog off into the distance. The feature will also make your life way easier when riding powder, as they’ll keep you skimming across the top of the snowpack with minimal effort.

The core is a combination of Poplar and Paulownia so it’s tough enough to take a beating, has bags of snap and is still lightweight. Milled into the core, running lengthwise outside the inserts are two hollow carbon rods, these Dual Super Tubes enhance the pop further – aiding the camber.

With the highest molecular content extruded base available, it’s ready to take a few hits but you’re not sacrificing speed for durability. It’s an easy repair when you’re sessioning the rail section all day and take out a few chunks during your progression session.

“I find the Push Up’s main strength to be its versatility, you can ride it anywhere on the mountain and not feel like you’re losing out. I especially enjoy riding it in powder as you’re able to ride in the deep with ease. I was riding super lazy and it was still pumping, turning and slashing exactly how I wanted it to. Riding switch wasn’t an issue, despite it being slightly directional and I never felt compelled to really lean back to keep it plaining.

“I find it allows you to get super smooth carves in, the whole edge feels like it engages simultaneously, and it locks in.”

The thinner flat section kept it feeling really nimble and manoeuvrable on piste and you’re able to get really fast, pumpy turns in. I’m a big 3BT fan in general, and I find it allows you to get super smooth carves in (the whole edge feels like it engages simultaneously, and it locks in).

It’s not a specific park board, and it did at times feel a bit sketchy on boxes, but for other features the uplifted edges really come into their own and the camber keeps it lively and snappy. It’s a fantastic all mountain option, that isn’t gonna let you down anywhere you go.”

“If you’re looking for the ultimate in slush-slashin fun time jibbin then the Bataleon Push Up is your board! I was lucky to test this rip roarer in soft snow at the end of season and loved how easy it was to try out my standard bag of tricks while attempting a few new ones! Bataleon’s Triple Base Technology and ‘Sidekick Tips’ are innovative in assisting all manner of edge-catch scenarios.

“If you’re looking for a forgiving board that helps you build confidence all around the mountain, then the Push Up is a solid choice”

This, in conjunction with a mid-range flex and rocker in all the right places, will provide confidence to beginners learning their first turns right through to solid rail riders and advanced jibbers. Unfortunately the conditions didn’t allow for testing in the powder, however this board is so light, forgiving and manoeuvrable that I know anyone struggling in the deeper stuff would love the confidence that this stick provides all over the mountain, including the backcountry. On the flipside of this, I feel that more advanced riders might miss the grip that a flat base and longer edge contact (without the Sidekick Tips) would provide when riding firmer snow, on kickers or in icy conditions. If you’re looking for a forgiving board that helps you build confidence all around the mountain, then the Push Up is a solid choice!”

“Initially I wasn’t super sold on this board as it was a bit stiffer than I was used to, but when I got it into the powder I could see that this was where it was in its element.

“A board that was solid underfoot, but that would float and breeze through the deep stuff”

The strong and aggressive character I was hesitant about to begin with delivered a powerful ride that could blast through anything that was thrown at it. Combine that with the Triple Base Tech and it made a board that was solid underfoot but that would float and breeze through the deep stuff without a moment’s hesitation and with only minimal effort.

Once I got used to it it felt really powerful – I ended up really loving it!”
