For season 20/21 Adidas Snowboarding decided to step up their game and produce more high-quality snowboard outerwear made out of Gore-Tex. By combining their experience in creating stylish street-inspired snowboard outerwear with high quality tech that comes with Gore-Tex, Adidas is now offering the durable Gore-Tex Adi Jacket.
Adidas Snowboarding is known for targeting their snowboard outerwear mainly towards the more ‘street style’ oriented audience. By introducing the new Gore-Tex Adi jacket the brand is now expanding its expertise and thus offering outerwear that appeals to a wider range of snowboarders.
“The Adidas Adi jacket follows in the footsteps of Adidas’s signature street style, meaning you’ll be offered uncompromised performance wrapped in a stylish design”
As you can tell by looking at the price, the Adi Jacket is what you’d categorise as technical outdoor apparel. Gore-Tex is the industry leader when it comes to durability, ensuring the jackets capability to last . The more durable the product, of course the better it is for mother nature too – since you won’t need to buy a new jacket anytime soon. In an ideal world, this would result in reduced production.
By offering a high waterproof rating that comes with the Gore-Tex membrane, the jacket does a good job in keeping the elements out whilst the equally high breathability rating makes sure to keep you cool even when things start to get toasty. If you’re in need of some extra venting on the hot sunny days, you can go ahead and open up the zips on the vents placed underneath the armpits.
Sticking to their roots, Adidas isn’t trading style for tech. The Adidas Adi jacket follows in the footsteps of Adidas’s signature street style, meaning you’ll be offered first-rate performance wrapped in a stylish design. We’re stoked on Adidas’ latest masterpiece and can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for next year.
