Burton Mint 2017-2018 Women’s Snowboard Boots Review

The Burton Mint is, so they say, the world’s best-selling women’s snowboard boot. Thats’ not hard to believe – ask around and it won’t take long before you find someone who has – or had – a pair.

“The Burton Mint represents the best value choice for any progressing female rider”

It’s fairly basic by today’s standards, but certainly doesn’t exclude more competent riders who want something fairly mellow. Even the simplest Burton tech backs in a bunch of great features, not least the speed-lacing system that uses strong, reliable fabric in its ‘New England Ropes’.

The sole is lighter than ever, but still does a great job of protecting your feet even in the coldest temperatures. Speaking of which, a reflective layer of foil helps to keep your toes toasty, which is crucial no matter your ability level.

Like all of Burton’s female-specific kit, the Burton Mint has been designed from the ground up to better suit a woman’s physiology. It’s also ready to go straight from the shop, so there’s no painful ‘breaking in’ period to endure before you can really let loose.

If you’re prepared to part with a little more cash then you could get the Boa version, but the standard Burton Mint represents the best value choice for any progressing female rider.
