For kids who are getting a little older and are looking for something that could pass as an adult’s binding, the NOW NxGen is a fine choice.
Made for kids with a boot between UK4 and UK6.5, the NOW NxGen has the same signature ‘Skate Tech’ that you find in the adult range. A kingpin in the centre of the binding works like a skateboard truck, allowing the binding to tilt forwards and backwards onto shock-absorbing rubber bushings.

Other standard NOW features that have been scaled down for use on the NOW NxGen are the asymmetrical highback that provides extra support on the inside of each calf, and the single-injected EVA strap which is stitch-free. The strap layout and buckles are the same too, and it’s stayed away from cutesy kid graphics too.
The lifetime warranty may be a moot point for parents of only children, but if you’re looking for something that can be handed down through the ranks and remain as tough as it was on day 1, the NOW NxGen has your back.
