UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2019/2020 NOW Drive here
Jeremy Jones has made no secret of his love for NOW, to the point that the brand’s unique ‘Skate-Tech’ system features on both of Jones Snowboards’ new binding models. Furthermore, he still puts his name to this pair of responsive freeride binders in the NOW range.
The NOW Drive snowboard bindings (or ‘Drive by Jeremy Jones’, to give them their full name) are designed for the steep and deep. They feature stiff, responsive highbacks and carbon-enhanced bases, all the better for control and response at speed. Naturally the Skate-Tech is still present and correct (read more about that here), and it remains a popular system among serious pow chasers.

The Now Drive bindings also have some neat customisable features. Swap the ankle straps to change the amount of freedom to flex down through your boot, or change the Skate-Tech system’s bushings between two different levels of firmness. Just bear in mind that whatever adjustments you make, these will still have a definite freeride focus.
It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s still nice to see the strap buckles getting an upgrade. The new-look versions are even easier to crank than the previous ones, and thanks to some clever materials are lighter as well.
Backed by a lifetime warranty, the NOW Drive bindings are ones you can trust, even as you push your limits in the backcountry.
