The Cartel remains unchanged for another season – and with good reason. The Burton Cartel bindings have made quite a name for themselves on the market. Year after year devoted fans find themselves going back to these beauts, so why would you change anything when there clearly isn’t anything to change?
With a slightly stiffer flex, the Cartels might be better suited for more experienced riders. However, this binding is an all-mountain machine so you can pretty much adapt it to any kind of terrain.

The highbacks are easily adjustable thanks to Burton’s tool-free dial system. If you’re looking for a quicker edge to edge response, increasing the forward lean of the bindings is a piece of cake. Not only are the highbacks easily adjustable, they’re also extremely comfy and provide great response.
The shock dampening baseplates ensure you can charge your way through anything and everything. They also adjust your feet into a natural position, resulting in increased comfort and reduced fatigue.
As with most of Burton’s bindings, the Cartels come in two different editions – the Re:Flex and EST. The Re:Flex bindings are compatible with all the major snowboard mounting systems out there, while the EST ones are only compatible with Burton’s own Channel system.
