For the last few years, the Upshot has been the only female specific binding found sitting within the Bent Metal line. This year however, Bent Metal have introduced another option for the ladies, the Bent Metal Metta, a binding slightly stiffer than our beloved Upshot. The Upshot does however remain one of our favourite female-specific freestyle bindings out there, and the ladies longing for a fun forgiving binding to compliment their park performance will find that it’s a worthy companion.
The Bent Metal Upshot is more or less the female version of Bent Metal’s Logic binding. With a soft flex and a bit of give to the highbacks you can be sure these bindings will give you a smooth responsive ride in any terrain. The soft flexing calcium bi-axial drive plate also helps to improve your edge-to-edge riding, while allowing for even more freestyle-friendly flex.
“Bent Metal’s signature Drive Plate gives you plenty of underfoot cushioning with minimal loss of boardfeel”

Bent Metal have decided to keep the graphics nice and simple this year. The black and white model is designed by Jen Ament, while the blue version is designed by none other than Hannah Eddy. This lady has been transferring her love for snowboarding and other action sports into art for years, so we’re stoked that she’s now left her mark on the Upshots too.
These park-specific Bent Metal Upshot bindings are light and responsive, giving you just the right amount of flex you’d crave for the perfect park performance. If you enjoy a soft fun ride, these beauties will definitely be a great addition to your set.
