Who Are The Jones Re-Up Down Jacket For?

Ideal for backcountry layering and around-town warmth, the Re-Up Down jacket is a simple sustainable option for adventurers who seek something to warm up their body and soul with. Whether you’re planning on placing it underneath a shell or wearing it for a sledge ride in snowy cold Lapland, it does the job with flying colours.

Materials and Construction

Made with upcycled 750-fill down, the Re-Up Down jacket, which in the world of down fill is considered extremely good, will protect you from cold. Not only does this speak about the jacket’s ability to keep you warm, but also of the quality of down used – the higher the fill power, the better the quality. Jackets with higher fill power also tend to be lighter and more compressible, a trait any backcountry adventurer will come to appreciate.

Even if this is a great option for snowboarders, it’s not made to be worn on its own as its ability to keep you dry isn’t ideal even if the jacket has been given a PFC free DWR coating. However, this is the case with nearly all mid-layer jackets on the market.

As far as features go, the Jones Re-Up Down Jacket comes with just the right ones: elastic cuffs and waist, included self-stowing pocket and recycled polyester zip pull cords. On top of that, the jacket’s got two front hand pockets, an internal chest zippered pocket and two internal drop pockets so it doesn’t fall short on storage room either.
