Nokia have just released a new Burton app for Windows Phone 8 that features a photo sequencer, resort forecasting features and shred-ready playlists.
In addition to the Burton gear and film content, the new app has three main functions to assist with three things that most snowboarders find pretty important: photos (’cause every rider likes a sick shot they can show off to their mates), snow (obviously an important factor to consider when you’re off, y’know, snowboarding) and music (because beats make [snow]boarding better).
Like having a mini DSLR in your pocket that shoots a continuous burst at 30fps, the Burton Sequencer supposedly lets you film your lines/tricks before stitching them together into an instant sequence shot, which you can then share on Facebook and Twitter. Sounds pretty neat huh?
The Burton Forecast function lets you check weather, snow levels and which runs are open at over 2600 resorts and the Tune Up function lets you listen to pre-loaded, shred-ready playlists.
You can download the app, which is free and exclusively available in the Windows Phone Store for Nokia Lumia 620, 820 and 920 devices, here.
