We say: This board’s flex designed for riding reasonably fast, but it’s snub-nosed shape means its also relatively easy to spin and butter. Not designed with anything specific in mind, but capable of handling pretty much anything. Also pretty cheap.
Tester says: Nice, solid entry-level rocker. Holds up well at speed.

About Artec

- History lesson: The Artec project started off as an art-focused sub-brand of Elan Snowboards, allowing shredders to submit their own designs and have them printed on specially made boards. The idea was so successful that Artec set up as its own entity shortly afterwards. The company grew quickly, signing up an international team which includes several of the Think Thank crew, like Gus Engle and Nima Jalali.
